Billing questions
Is Basic really free?
Yes, for as long as you like, with no card needed. Everything on the site today stays in Basic.
How does the free trial work?
You get 7 days of everything in Signature. We email you a reminder before the trial ends, and if you cancel before then you're never charged.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, from your account in a couple of taps. Signature keeps working until the end of the month or year you've paid for, then you're back on Basic.
Monthly or yearly: what's the difference?
Monthly is $4.99 a month. Yearly is $39.99 once a year, which works out to $3.33 a month, 33% less. You can switch between them anytime, and the difference is credited.
What is the founding member price?
The first 100 members pay $3.99 a month for as long as they stay subscribed. If you cancel and come back later, the regular price applies.
How do I pay, and is it safe?
Payments go through Stripe, which handles cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Your card number goes straight to Stripe and never reaches EsScents.
Do prices include sales tax?
Sales tax is added at checkout where your state requires it, and you see the total before you pay.
What happens to my lists and alerts if I go back to Basic?
Nothing is deleted. You keep all your lists, alerts and saved chats; anything past the Basic limits just stops updating until you rejoin.
Something looks wrong with a charge. Who do I ask?
Email hello@esscents.app and we'll sort it out.
